Royal Flag of the Joseon Dynasty (조선 어기 御旗)

The Eogi refers to the royal standard of the king.
It is believed to have been produced in the late 19th century as part of the Joseon royal court’s efforts to establish a formal royal appearance amid the reorganization of the global order.

At edc8ang, this patch was produced based on an Eogi-어기 御旗- image preserved by the Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies at Seoul National University.

The yellow background is made from Cordura fabric.
