조선 장방패 귀면(長方牌 鬼面) 패치 : 적, 녹, 청, 백

본 패치는 『세종실록오례의』 「병기도설」에 
기록된 장방패 문양을 자수로 구현한 제품입니다.
사료에 명시된 방위별 상징색과 귀면(도깨비) 
문양의 조형적 특징을 분석하여 edc8ang의 디자인으로 재구성했습니다.

전통 색상 체계를 현대적으로 재해석했습니다.

Joseon Rectangular Shield Beast Face (Gwimyeon) Patch: 
Red, Green, Blue, White
This patch is an embroidered realization of the rectangular shield 
patterns recorded in the Byeonggi-doseol (Illustrations of Military Equipment) 
of the Sejong Sillok Orye-ui (Five Rites of the Annals of King Sejong). 
We have analyzed the symbolic colors for each cardinal direction and the formative characteristics of the Beast Face (Gwimyeon) motifs as specified in historical records, reinterpreting them through the unique design lens of EDC8ANG.

We have modernized the traditional color system 
of the rectangular shields used by the Joseon military, 
which varied according to the cardinal directions they defended.
