Moonbae-do refers to traditional guardian illustrations hung on palace gates to ward off evil and invite good fortune during the Lunar New Year. Among them, the Golden Armored Generals are iconic protective figures.

Based on restored depictions of the left and right generals from the original 3-meter-tall Moonbae-do that once hung on Gwanghwamun Gate in the late 19th century, edc8ang has recreated these legendary Golden Armor Generals as small EDC patches.
This design embodies the traditional guardian spirit of Moonbae-do, believed to drive away bad energy and serve as a powerful talisman.
