Qilin Rank Badge  기린 흉배

Inspired by the Qirin insignia worn by Heungseon Daewongun, this patch was designed by edc8ang. The Qirin is a mythical creature said to appear only in the age of a virtuous ruler, symbolizing auspiciousness and moral authority.
In traditional royal embroidery, Qirins were depicted using gold thread to emphasize their dignity and grace. edc8ang reinterprets this spirit in a modern context, presenting it through three color variations — Yellow Qirin, Blue Qirin, and Green Qirin.
