본 패치는 1941년 김구 선생이 벨기에 출신
신부에게 전한 ‘김구 서명문 태극기’ 유물을 바탕으로 제작되었습니다.

This patch is based on the 'Kim Gu Signed Taegukgi,' 
a historical artifact that Kim Gu gave to a Belgian priest in 1941.

'강노말세(强弩末勢), 원수 일본을 타도하자'
태극기 여백을 채운 김구 선생의 필적에는 
독립을 향한 비장한 결의가 담겨 있습니다.
'망국의 설움을 면하려거든, 정력과 인력과 물력을 
광복군에게 바치라'는 원본 태극기의 호소문은
역경 속에서도 꺾이지 않는 한국인의 저항 정신을 상징합니다.

"Down with the Enemy: A Resolve Carved in Ink"
The handwriting of Kim Gu that fills the white space 
of the flag contains a solemn determination. 
His message—"If you wish to escape the sorrow 
of a lost nation, dedicate your energy, manpower, 
and resources to the Liberation Army
"—symbolizes the unyielding resistance of the Korean people 
even in the face of adversity.
