본 패치는 고려대학교 박물관에 
소장된 작자 미상의 걸작,
**'근역강산맹호기상도'**를 
자수로 재해석한 작품입니다.
한반도의 형상을 대륙을 향해 
포효하는 호랑이로 묘사한 원본의 이미지를 토대로
역경 속에서도 굴하지 않았던 한국인의 
회복탄력성(Resilience)을 현대적 미감의
 '맹호'와 '백호'로 담아냈습니다.

호랑이 반도, 맹호 버전과
신비롭고 영험한 흰색 호랑이 반도의 
백호 버전으로 제작되었습니다.

"The Soul of a Nation Carved into the Peninsula"
This patch is a modern embroidery reinterpretation 
of the anonymous masterpiece, 
'Geunyeok Gangsan Maengho Gisangdo' 
(Map of the Fierce Tiger in the Land of Rose of Sharon), 
held in the Korea University Museum. 
Based on the original imagery that depicts the 
Korean Peninsula as a tiger roaring toward the continent, 
we have captured the resilience of the Korean people
—who never yielded in the face of adversity—
through the 'Fierce Tiger' and 'White Tiger' versions.

'Fierce Tiger & White Tiger'
Fierce Tiger (Maengho): Features the tiger-shaped peninsula 
in traditional colors set against a deep blue sea.

White Tiger (Baekho): A mystical and spiritual depiction 
of the peninsula as a sacred white tiger.

The solid, high-density texture created
